Noonan – Munster Mixed Foursomes runners-up
The 2013 Munster Mixed
Foursomes Competition took Place last Sunday, September 1st, at the
splendid Lakewood Pitch and Putt Club, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Cunnigar was
represented by two teams. Defending champions Stella Kinsella and John Charles
were accompanied by the pairing of Mary Walsh and Paddy Noonan. After two
rounds, Mary and Paddy were tied for first place with the Lakeside team. A
score count back was undertaken and the title was awarded to the local team
because of their slightly better second round. Stella and John also finished
strongly and finished in the top 5.
All in all, it was a
great display by the two Cunnigar teams.
