Cunnigar Scratch Cup Sponsored by Lawlors Hotel.

We are holding our Annual Scratch Cup 6th May, tee off between 8.30am and 2.30pm.

Last years winner was John Cahill, Fermoy.

Top 12 + ties qualify for playoff at 4.30pm.

Prizes in all grades.

LAST YEARS WINNERS WERE PADDY FOLEYS BAR SO LETS SEE IF THEY CAN GET 3 IN A ROW.

ENTRIES MUST BE IN BY MONDAY 22ND MAY AND THE DRAW WILL BE MADE ON WEDNESDAY 24TH MAY.

Teams of 3, only one ppui registered member allowed to be on a team if playing.

Teams can consist of all non ppui members.

Hole in One Competition

We are now holding the competition for the most hole in ones during the year.

Already we have members who have them while playing competitions.

Ladies

Mary Walsh, Mary O'Neill have one each.

Liam Simms, John Foley, Patsy Hackett have one each.

Clothes Collection

Once again we are collecting clothes, bags, shoes, curtains, bed linen, towels to raise funds to help with the up keep of our club.

It is an essential fundraiser for our club and has proved to be a great success.

Any donation will be much appreciated.

Did you know

If your ball lies in a sand bunker, you may not touch the sand with your club in preperation to play the shot.  

WHEN USING YOUR FOB PLEASE REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE GATE WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COURSE.

IF THESE RULES ARE NOT ADHERED TO, ACTION WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN.

Pitch Marks

Leaving Pitch Marks when playing destroys the greens, it takes a lot of care and attention to keep them in pristine condition, so all members and green fees are asked to repair them and use the correct repairer when doing so.

Do not use club heads to repair a pitch mark as this damages the green. Always use a pitch repairer. 

Also do not use the club head to take balls out of holes on greens as this damages the hole. 

Please Note

Any one found to be teeing off onto greens not in play will be dealt with by the committee.

If anyone has an hour or two Mondays to Fridays to spare to give a hand helping on the course you would be very welcome.
