 Congratulations To Our Senior Players

Well done to John Sloane who qualified for the Munster Region of the Irish Open in Larkspur Park Pitch and Putt club. 


He will play in July in Tullamore with International, Leinster and Munster players.  Everyone at the Cunnigar wishes him the best of luck.
Also well done to Lorraine Troy who came 3rd in the Provincial Strokeplay which was played in Bruff last weekend. This is her first major competition as a senior player.


Lorraine and John as always have done themselves and the club proud.
To Finbarr and Aiden O'Rourke who also played in Bruff and aquitted themselves well.

2. No practice chipping or putting when on the first or eighteenth greens. 
3. Only 2 balls may be pitched when practicing. 
4. If both you and your opponents ball are on the same green, you are penalised if you hit their ball with yours.
5 .When in sand bunker your club must not touch any sand before you take your shot.
Course Etiquette 
Treat your fellow players with respect at all times. 
NEVER walk away from the green when the game has finished, always acknowledge your playing partner.  
Always show respect for the course and other players by not making noise, especially when they are playing their shots. 
The only time you are allowed to shout is when you are shouting FORE. 
When you see you are delaying the play of those coming behind, allow them to play through. 
MANNERS COST NOTHING.

Anyone coming in with a member when the gate is closed must use the envelopes provided on the wooden fence and put into postbox. Name, telephone number, date and amount to be written on the envelope.

John Sloane qualified for Munster Region Irish Open 2022

 Well done to our senior player John Sloane of the Cunnigar pitch and putt club who qualified for the 

Munster Region Irish Open in Larkspur Park pitch and putt club.

 


He will play in July in Tullamore pitch and putt club with International, Leinster and Munster players over two days.

Everyone at the Cunnigar wishes him all the best and we know he will do himself and the club proud.

 Munster Strokeplay qualifiers were Finbar O'Rourke in the junior and Aiden O'Rourke, Ronan Hogan (tramore)and Owen Tubbritt (tramore) in the inter-section.

 Waterford County Strokeplay Championship 

Our County Strokeplay Championship was held in Tramore last Sunday.
There was a great turnout on a glorious sunny day.
Tramore must be congratulated on their impeccable course, and a big thank you to all who supported this day.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO OFFERED THEIR HELP ON THE COURSE LAST WEEK, THIS WAS A VERY IMPORTANT JOB WHICH NEEDED PLENTY OF HANDS
Club Matchplay 
Our Matchplay draw has now taken place and the first round is underway, results will follow soon, check with Paddy for more news.
