Note's 18/12/2021


WE WOULD LIKE TO WISH ALL OF OUR MEMBERS, SPONSORS AND VISITORS TO OUR CLUB A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.


Our final game of this year will be on Monday 27th December (weather permitting as usual) names in for 10am tee off at 11am.

A.G.M 2022 
Our A.G.M will be held on 16th January 2022.

Motions must be sent to our secretary Corinne Mcgee by 2nd January 2022.
Anyone interested in going for a position on the 2022 committee please add name onto sheet in club house before 9th January 2022.


Winter Rules.
 Bunkers are out of play. If ball lands in bunker, ball must be dropped behind the bunker, not at the sides (no shot lost).

 Ball can be cleaned, lifted and placed. 
 There are a few rules that are not being adhered to. 
1. Please fix ball marks  
2. No practice chipping or putting when on the first or eighteenth greens. 
3. Only 2 balls may be pitched when practicing. 
4. If both you and your opponents ball are on the same green, you are penalised if you hit their ball with yours.

Course Etiquette 

Treat your fellow players with respect at all times. 
NEVER walk away from the green when the game is finished, always acknowledge your playing partner.  
Always show respect for the course and other players by not making noise, especially when they are playing their shots. 
The only time you are allowed to shout is when you are shouting FORE. 
When you see you are delaying the play of those coming behind, allow them to play through. 
MANNERS COST NOTHING.

Hours Of Play 

Anyone coming in with a member when the gate is closed must use the envelopes provided on the wooden fence and put into postbox. Name, telephone number, date and amount to be written on the envelope.

Committee meeting

committee meeting is on Wednesday 5th January at 7pm 

 Wednesday Ladies game. names in for 10am tee off at 10.30am sharp.

MEMBERS WITH ANY SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS MUST STAY AWAY FROM THE COURSE. 
 Masks must be worn when entering the club house. SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES MUST BE OBSERVED BOTH ON THE COURSE AND CAR PARK AREA. 
EVERYONE MUST SIGN THE BOOK located in the hallway of clubhouse. 
ONLY 4 PLAYERS PER TEE BOX AT A TIME. 
 THESE RULES ARE IN LINE WITH THE P.P.U.I AND GOVERNMENT RULES. BY STICKING WITH THE RULES WE ARE HELPING EACH OTHER TO STAY SAFE

Lions Club Christmas Game 

 Our President Breda Foley presenting the cheque to President Shay O'Connor from the Lions club.



Christmas game 


We had a great turnout on a drizzly winters day. We made the draw for the Christmas hampers which yet again surpassed themselves with their quality and quantity.

The Hole in one play off went to Mary Daly with a spectacular hole in one on the first green which is a very rare event 



and Michael Ahearne won the gents section.
Thank you to everyone who turned up on Saturday and made the day enjoyable.

 Christmas Hampers 

Raffle tickets are now available in the clubhouse for our wonderful christmas hampers.
Christmas Game 
Our fun Christmas game will be on 11th December at 11am. 
It's a secret santa, so you must bring in a wrapped present to the value of 10 euro.
At this game we will be presenting the vouchers for the Hole in one winners and also the Saturday winners vouchers.
Also the draw for the Christmas hampers will be made.
