25th ANNIVERSARY 2015

25th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

WE HELD OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY ON 26TH OCTOBER 2015.

A GREAT DAY WAS HAD BY ALL,  DESPITE THE TERRIBLE WEATHER OVER 40 PEOPLE WENT OUT AND PLAYED IN A SCRAMBLE.

PADDY POWER WHO WAS THE PERSON WHO INSTIGATED THE PLANS TO BUILD THE CUNNIGAR PITCH &  PUTT CLUB IN DUNGARVAN CAME TO JOIN IN WITH THE CELEBRATIONS AND GAVE A SPEECH ON HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT 25 YEARS AGO.



THERE WERE ALSO OTHER PEOPLE WHO CAME FROM OTHER CLUBS TO SUPPORT US ON OUR BIG DAY.




WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HELPED PUT THE DAY TOGETHER, WHO HELPED ON THE DAY AND TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED AND SUPPORTED US OVER THE LAST 25 YEARS AND HOPEFULLY FOR MANY MORE TO COME.

Cunnigar Pitch and Putt Club's

25th Anniversary


This year is our club's 25th anniversay and we will be holding an open day on Bank holiday Monday 26th October. 
We are inviting all members, past members, sponsors, intending members, anyone who has helped us over the past 25 years and all of the general public to come and take a look and also play a game of pitch and putt.





During our 25 years in existance we have gone from strength to strength and we are now rated as one of the top courses in Ireland.
We have held Munster and National Competitions including Adult, Juvenile and Inter County Competitions.
This year we held the pinnacle of them all 'The Gents National Strokeplay Championships', where we recieved rave reviews for the running of this Championship Competiton and of our excelent course and club house from all the visitors to our club on this day and all throughout the year.
Our club has recieved National and International awards from the P.P.U.I, Waterford City & County Community & Voluntary Awards and the international F.I.P.P.A over the years.
We are very proud of the progress that our club has made over the last quarter of a century, so anyone who has or has not seen our picturesque course and club please come along on October 26th You will not be dissapointed.

Mass for our deceased members will be mentioned in the list of dead in St Mary's Church over the bank holiday weekend.

To play in the scramble names must be in for 9.45am and tee off  10.30am sharp.
