As we come to the end of this very successful year for the club, I must mention the very generous sponsorship that we received from local businesses and individuals over the past 12 months. Our club would not survive without the on-going support of our community. Year after year, our sponsors have been the life-blood of this club and have played a major part in the progression of the club. The club is 20 years in existence, and over that time the club has gone from strength to strength, culminating in the hosting of the Ladies All-Ireland Stroke-play Championships earlier this year. This would not have happened without the support of our sponsors.

Results of Alzheimers Unit Charity Game, October 25th

Alzheimer’s Unit Charity Game



There was a tremendous turnout, despite the blustery conditions, for the Charity game on October 25th in aid of the Alzheimer’s Unit in Dungarvan Community Hospital. We raised a staggering €925 for this very worthy cause. This Charity Game was our way of giving something back to our community and showing our appreciation of the support we receive locally. The Alzheimer’s Unit undertakes trojan work to look after Alzheimer’s patients from our community.
