 Ladies Open

We are holding our Ladies Open on the 9^th July, tee off between 9am and 1pm.

10 euro which includes 2 cards and buffet, extra cards are 4 euro each.

Prizes in all grades.

Donna Cockwell

The Cunnigar Pitch and Putt club would like to send their sincere sympathies to the family of the late Donna.

She will always be remembered for winning the Junior All Ireland in 2004 in St Bridgets pitch and putt in Kildare.

May she rest in peace.

There are a few rules that are not being adhered to. 

1. Please fix ball marks  

2. No practice chipping or putting when on the first or eighteenth greens. 

3. Only 2 balls may be pitched when practicing. 

4. If both you and your opponents ball are on the same green, you are penalised if you hit their ball with yours.

5 .When in sand bunker your club must not touch any sand before you take your shot.

Course Etiquette 

Treat your fellow players with respect at all times. 

NEVER walk away from the green when the game has finished, always acknowledge your playing partner.  

Always show respect for the course and other players by not making noise, especially when they are playing their shots. 

The only time you are allowed to shout is when you are shouting FORE. 

When you see you are delaying the play of those coming behind, allow them to play through. 

MANNERS COST NOTHING.

Hours Of Play 

Anyone coming in with a member when the gate is closed must use the envelopes provided on the wooden fence and put into postbox. Name, telephone number, date and amount to be written on the envelope.

 Ladies National Strokeplay in Fermoy

In the Junior section  the Cunnigar was represented by  Jacinta O'Mahoney, Mary Daly and Corinne McGee.

In the Junior grade Corinne McGee was runner up to local favourite Maryann Byrne of Fermoy. 

It was a nip and tuck game that went down to the wire with Maryann winning by one shot.

With a strong field in the Senior grade Lorraine Troy won the best 36 Nett, 

also Corinne and Lorrraine had a hole in one each, 

which made it a very eventful day for all of our ladies who represented the club and themselves with pride.

Tramore Open

A few of our members travelled to Tramore for an open week between our 2 clubs, scores were very high and Oliviere Walsh won the 12+ Nett and also had a hole in one.

It is great to see our members travelling again and doing so well after being locked in by covid.

 President day 

Sunday last Paddy Nooonan held his Presidents Day, he had a great turnout and the sun shone all day.

Everyone enjoyed the day.

Paddy thanked everyone for supporting him, to the course workers who had the course in immaculate condition and to the kitchen staff who made sure everyone was well fed and the tournament committee who as always helped run the day smoothly.

Also Amy & Siobhan's Hair Salon who sponsored his day.
