Qualifiers for the National Matchplay.
The Cunnigar was well represented by

In the National Matchplay Qualifiers

Aidan o Rourke qualified as winner of          
Munster Matchplay last weekend 
          
Well done to Dylan Moroney intermediate Grade who has qualified for the National Matchplay and Aidan o Rourke who received an Automatic qualification last weekend when he won Munster Matchplay Junior Champi

on.
Best of luck to you both at the Nationals at the end of May at Rock Lodge and Bishopstown pitch and putt courses. 

New membership 
The Clubhouse is open between 1.00-2 .00 pm Wednesday and Saturday to pay membership for 2026. 

Anyone not using a fob please return as it can be re-used.
Anyone who hasn't paid membership the fob is now turned off

Green fees Prices
Adult: 6 euro
Juveniles: 4 euro
Club hire: 3 euro per set
We charge 1 euro for hire of ball and pitch mark repairer, to be refunded upon return

Anyone coming in with a member when the gate is closed must use the envelopes provided on the wooden fence and put into postbox. Name, telephone number, date and amount to be written on the envelope please

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone bringing in green fees without paying will automatically have their fob turned off, no exceptions to this rule.


Pitch Marks

Leaving pitch marks when playing destroys the greens. It takes a lot of care and attention to keep them in pristine condition, so all members and green fees are asked to repair them and use the correct repairer when doing so.
Do not use club heads to repair a pitch mark as this damages the green.
Always use a pitch repairer.
Also do not use the club head to take balls out of holes on greens as this damages the hole.

Family: 180 euro
Adult: 100 euro
Associate member: 80 euro
Seniors and 3rd level students: 70 euro
Juveniles: 60 euro
Life member: 50 euro

Vouchers

Vouchers are available if required as people love to get membership as a gift.

Course Etiquette

Treat your fellow players with respect at all times.
NEVER walk away from the green when the game has finished, always acknowledge your playing partner.
Always show respect for the course and other players by not making noise, especially when they are playing their shots.
The only time you are allowed to shout is when you are shouting FORE.
When you see you are delaying the play of those coming behind, allow them to play through.

Munster Matchplay 
On Saturday the games are being hosted  at Stephens pitch & putt and Fermoy Pitch & Putt
 Lorraine Troy (Cunnigar Senior finds herself already in the semi-finals, in which she will face the
survivor of the Mary Murray v. Sarah Byrne.
After Saturdays rounds Lorraine faces  Mary Murray.
On Saturday the games are as follows:
Following the recent Pitch and Putt southern boundary changes, Michelle O’Connell (Cunnigar) claimed the 2025 Cork
Junior Matchplay championship. Michelle is challenged by Lakewood Juvenile Officer Teresa Venable, Michelle didn't succeed to the next round
Declan Byrne( Cunnigar) Intermediate is up against Ger Ryan (Ardnacrusha), Declan didn't succeed to the next round
The winner of the 2013 provincial Intermediate Strokeplay runner-up
Aidan O’Rourke (Cunnigar) Junior versus Paddy McGrath (Larkspur Park) showdown. Aidan  has made it to the Semi finals in Sunday 
Jordan Shaw (Cunnigar) is up against 
Anthony McKarding (Tipperary Hills) , Jordan get trough his round .
All semi- finals and finals being held at Fermoy Pitch &Putt.
On Sunday, Lorraine was  beaten by  Mary Murray and missed out on the final.
Aidan o Rourke,  makes it to the final where he is up against Shane Hogan. 
Hugh Congratulations to Aidan o Rourke MUNSTER JUNIOR MATCHPLAY WINNER 

Collins Scratch Cup.
Well done to  Patrick Walsh who won Junior grade on Bank Holiday Monday at Collins Scratch Cup. His second scratch cup will at the weekend .

Scratch Cup May 2nd
On Saturday we head our Scratch Cup, we welcomed 26 clubs 
Thankfully the rain of Thursday has gone and the day stayed mostly dry and mild.
 First Tee-Off at 8 a m ., in the Sunny south east
There was a great turnout in support of the event ., over 140 players competed.
Martin Hayes our Chairman spoke and thanked all who traveled and supported our day 
As always the course was in perfect championship condition, thanks to the course men ..  and Thanks to the ladies for keeping the kitchen in order.  Thanks to Cait who took all the bookings in the weeks previous, and to the office staff  who worked on the cards   throughout  the day.
