Sports notes

Here the notes for the week

Cork County Strokeplay  Championship
Outstanding weekend for the Club at the Cork County Strokeplay.
First we had three ladies representing the club .
One senior and two juniors. All played a great game .
Michelle o Connell took home Winner of the Junior grade , Michelle has now won the double in Cork County as he won the Cork County Matchplay in April. What a start to the year , a great player.
Next up the Junior Men , we had four representing the club , no winners , all played really well .
The intermediate Grade had six players , in the team event the Cunnigar men placed third , great achievement
Dylan Moroney intermediate  became the Winner of the his grade , after he qualified for the playoff with 9 under after 36 holes , what a final found it was for this man , he kept his nerve and finished well taking home the winning spot

Thank you to Collins and Fermoy for organising and running an outstanding County Strokeplay competition.

Congratulations to all the prize winners and everyone who represented the club so proudly over the weekend.
