Cribbins Ladies Open Champion
The Ladies Open took place last Sunday June 6th. This competition was kindly sponsored by Cribbins, The Butchers Block, Dungarvan Shopping Centre.
After overnight rain, the sun made its appearance just in time for the early competitors and we were blessed with near perfect conditions for the rest of the day. People travelled from as far away as Newry, Co Down to enter the competition. The course was in pristine condition which prompted much praise from the competitors from visiting clubs. Some great scores were posted throughout the day, but in the end, it was Mary O’Neill (Cunnigar) who won the day with two fantastic rounds of 54 and 55.
When the competition ended, everyone stayed for the prize giving and the fantastic barbecue which was supplied by Cribbins. Well done to all the participants on what was, once again, a fantastic competition.
