Bag packing Day at Garveys, Supervalu

We are having a bag pack at Garveys Supervalu, on June 12th,13th and 14th any help would be much appreciated, rota sheet inside clubhouse if anyone has an hour or two to spare. 

Now that the Club is open if anyone has an hour or two to spare to give a hand helping on the course you would be very welcome.

Due to this competition getting more popular every year, we are expecting a big turnout and we would ask our members to play early to facilitate other clubs playing in this competition.

 Hole in One

This year we are having a prize for the most hole in ones during the season. 

These must be in a Club competiton at the Cunnigar Pitch and Putt and cards must be verified by the tournament committee.

To date Patsy Hackett and Paddy Noonan, John Carroll , Michael Havens, Liam Simms (2) and Richard O'Leary have each got one in competition.

Bonus number this week is 8, There was no  winner this week.

Pitch Marks

Leaving Pitch Marks when playing destroys the greens, it takes a lot of care and attention to keep them in pristine condition, so all members and green fees are asked to repair them and use the correct repairer when doing so.

Did you know?

When you see that your ball may strike any person always warn them by shouting "Fore".

Juveniles Competitions

Juvenile Competitons will commence on Sunday 29th June at 12pm, all members are welcome to play, this will also be great practice for the Munster Schools Competiton.

Munster Schools Competiton

The Cunnigar Pitch and Putt Club are hosting the Finals of the  Munster Schools Competiton .
